ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕದಡುವ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು. ಶಾಂತಿ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸರ್ವರೂ ಸಹಕರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಕದಡುವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅಂತವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಿರ್ದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಈ ಘಟನೆಯ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ನಗರದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತರ ಬಳಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದು, ತಪ್ಪಿತಸ್ಥರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಮೂವರು ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತನಿಖೆ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಶೀಘ್ರ ಇನ್ನುಳಿದ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಕಮಿಷನರ್ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತೆ ಮರುಕಳಿಸದಂತೆ ಕ್ರಮ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೂ ಮತ್ತೆ ಇಂತಹ ಕೃತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಬಾರದು. ಶಾಂತಿ ಕದಡುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ನಡೆಸಿದರೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
