ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ತುಳು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ 2009ರ ಡಿ.10ರಂದು ಉಜಿರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದ ‘ವಿಶ್ವ ತುಳು ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ’ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್. ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ತುಳುವಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ನೀಡುವ ಕುರಿತು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾಕತಾಳೀಯ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ದಶಕದ ಬಳಿಕ 2019ರ ಡಿ.8ರಂದು ಇದೇ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಮತ್ತೆ ಅವರದ್ದೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತುಳುವಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ಸಿಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಅಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಆದಾಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಂದು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಘಟಕ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ತುಳುವರೇ (ಡಿ.ವಿ.ಸದಾನಂದ ಗೌಡ, ನಳಿನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕಟೀಲು) ಇದ್ದುದೂ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸಚಿವ ಸಿ.ಟಿ. ರವಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲೂ ತುಳುವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ, ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಈಡೇರಿಸುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ಈಗ ತುಳುವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

    JP installer is supposed to be quite comprehensive, but in my opinion, it’s a rather disappointing package.
    It consists mainly of MP3 converter (burbling, really): it scans disc with jitter and detects CD-DA tracks to save them as MP3s, using the ALAC and the FLAC formats.
