ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಆ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಆರ್‌ಪಿ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ರಿಸರ್ವ್ ಬೆಟಾಲಿಯನ್ (IRB)ನ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮೀಸಲು ಉಪ-ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕರ ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ ಪುರುಷ, ಮಹಿಳೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಂಗಳಮುಖಿಯರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಆಹ್ವಾನ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಗಳಮುಖಿಯರಿಗೆ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಅವಕಾಶ ದೊರೆತಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಗಳಮುಖಿಯರೂ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಂಗಳಮುಖಿಯರಿಗೆ ಶೇ.1ರಷ್ಟು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈಗಗಲೇ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಸೋಮವಾರ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆಯಂತೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂಗಳಮುಖಿ ಸಮುದಾಯದಿಂದ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಮೊದಲ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಡಿಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಐಜಿಪಿ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಸೂದ್ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸೋಮವಾರ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಂಗಳಮುಖಿಯರು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬಹುದು. ಸದ್ಯ 70 ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶವಿದ್ದು, ಜನವರಿ 18 ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಕೊನೆಯ ದಿನಾಂಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಜುಲೈನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ ಮಹತ್ವದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಅದರಂತೆ ಮಂಗಳಮುಖಿಯರಿಗೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಯ್ದಿರಿಸಿದ ಮೊದಲ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವಾಗಿದೆ.
