ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಭಾರತದ ಜಾವೆಲಿನ್ ಎಸೆತಗಾರ ನೀರಜ್ ಚೋಪ್ರಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶನಿವಾರ ನವದೆಹಲಿಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಜರ್ ಧ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಂದ್ ಖೇಲ್ ರತ್ನ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಚೋಪ್ರಾ ಸಹಿತ 12 ಮಂದಿ ಸಾಧಕರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಟೋಕಿಯೊ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್ 2021ರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಜ್ ಚೋಪ್ರಾ ಜಾವೆಲಿನ್ ಎಸೆತದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದರು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಖೇಲ್ ರತ್ನ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ನೀರಜ್ ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಪದಕ ವಿಜೇತ ಕುಸ್ತಿಪಟು ರವಿಕುಮಾರ್ ದಹಿಯಾ, ಬಾಕ್ಸರ್ ಲೊವ್ಲಿನಾ ಬೊರ್ಗೊಹೈನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ಯಾರಾಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದ ಪದಕ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ಅವನಿ ಲೆಖರಾ, ಪ್ರಮೋದ್ ಭಗತ್, ಕೃಷ್ಣ ನಗರ, ಸುಮಿತ್ ಆಂಟಿಲ್, ಮನೀಶ್ ನರ್ವಾಲ್, ಹಾಕಿ ತಂಡದ ನಾಯಕ ಮನ್‌ಪ್ರೀತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಒಟ್ಟು 35 ಮಂದಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸಾಧಕರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಜುನ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
