ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಪುತ್ರನಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹಚ್ಚಿದ ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿ. ಕೊಪ್ಪರಿಗೆಗುತ್ತು ನಿವಾಸಿ ಸ್ವಾಮೀತ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ (25 ವ) ಎಂಬವರು ಸುಟ್ಟ ಗಾಯಗೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸೋಮವಾರ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಸುಮಾರು 11:30 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಜಪ್ಪಿನಮೊಗರು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಕೊಪ್ಪರಿಗೆಗುತ್ತು ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕುದನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗಡೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಹಾಕಿದ್ದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಮೀತ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯ ತಂದೆ ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿರವರು ತಕರಾರು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವಾಚ್ಯ ಶಬ್ದಗಳಿಂದ ಬೈದು ಹೊಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಳಿಕ ಮನೆಯ ಒಳಗಡೆ ಬಂದು ಬಾಗಿಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ, ಚಿಲಕ ಹಾಕಿ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪೆಟ್ರೊಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಮಗನ ಮೈ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದ ಸಿಗರ್ ಲೈಟರಿಂದ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹಚ್ಚಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ದೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
